Using air conditioning while fast charging

I’ve read that it is possible to use the air conditioning while fast charging.

However I had issues on my last roadtrip - it kept turning off or giving me a low battery message.

What am I doing wrong?

Here is my sequence:
- Pull up to Electric America charger
- Turn off vehicle
- Plug in cable with adapter to car
- Start charge session on phone
- Click continue on EA charger
- Car starts to charge
- Get in car
- Push brake pedal while pressing start button
- Select Yes to the blue screen message that asks if I would like to use air conditioning while charging
- The AC will run for a bit then either the whole car turns off or I get a low battery message.

I’ve read that if the READY message is displayed the AC will run using the traction battery, however using the sequence above, I could never get the READY message if starting the car after charging has started.

Tesla Superchargers kinda suck

So I’m on my first roadtrip in n CO, NM, AZ area with the Uncharted and I’ve only successfully charged 1 out of 3 times at a Tesla charger.

First time I discovered the Tesla station was only for Tesla’s and did not support non Tesla EVs - even with NACS.

Second charger the cord was too short and I couldn’t get close enough because they installed wheel stops. I was able to angle to get close enough, but then discovered 3 out 6 chargers just didn’t work. No indication on the app or anything. Sigh.

Third time after 3 attempts I finally got it to charge. It took an exact sequence of launching the app, choosing the charge station number , clicking start charge button, and then - and only then, plugging it into the car. If I did any of those out of order - the Tesla app just sat there spinning.

I’ve had much more success and reliability from Electricfy America at Walmarts.

Plus I’ve got 800kwh free left over from my prior Kia ev6 promo deal.

Unfortunately I’ve had to make a lot of stops because I’m only getting 2.5kwh/mile doing 80mph with full AC in 90+ weather. So range is around 120-150 miles before needing a charge.

Roadtrips are definitely more challenging than a gas car, but still not terrible.

Headlight jiggle problem

So… first time driving at night and the headlights were bouncing all over the place.
I would imagine this is extremely distracting for other drivers.

Apparently this is a common issue.

Anyone have a temporary solution?

I tried shoving some foam around the headlight, but it didn’t help.

Metropolis vs Coastal Wolf Grey?

It’s really hard to tell the difference between these two colors on the Subaru website.

Does anyone have any real life pictures of these two colors and which do you prefer?
