Which one makes more sense? '98 Civic 1.6 VTEC (rebuilt engine) vs. '99 Prelude 2.2 VTEC

I need some advice on which of these two cars would be a more logical choice. (Just a quick note: car prices are quite high where I live, which explains the price tags below).

Option 1: 1998 Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC

  • Mileage: 300,000 km (but the engine was fully rebuilt 1,500 km ago)
  • Price: ~$14,000

Option 2: 1999 Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC

  • Mileage: 300,000 km
  • Price: ~$16,000

My Situation: I’m planning to use it mostly as a daily driver, though I could potentially turn it into just a weekend car. I have absolutely no track intentions—the performance of both is more than enough for my current needs.

My heart leans a bit more toward the Prelude, but to be totally honest, I don't know much about the long-term reliability, maintenance, or quirks of either of these cars.

What do you guys think I should do? Any advice or things to look out for would be greatly appreciated!

HHKB Pro BT or Hybrit Type-S

There is no official HHKB retailer in my country, and they are very hard to find here. However, someone is currently selling the older BT model for around $170. Should I wait 2-3 months to hear back from my friend abroad and get a hybrit Type-S, or should I just buy the BT model since I've already found one available?
