How many of you regret your Black Flag tattoo that looks like complete shit now?
Everyone I know with a Black Flag tattoo got the bars placed too close together, then never put sunscreen on it. There’s an army of men with an unfixable blue blob on their shoulder, and the majority of them don’t feel the same way as they did when they were teenagers. Are you one of them?
Not snark, this is a legit question, and you all know what I’m talking about.
Hey Pachuco!
They were so close to touching on it several times, but they never got there. The movie “The Mask“ totally co-opted the entire zoot suit aesthetic; his yellow zoot suit, the hat, Tex Avery’s Wolf, and everything. Not to mention, one of those dreadful 90’s swing bands (Royal Crown Revue) literally sang a song called “Hey Pachuco“ when the mask infiltrated the club: Hey Pachuco - The Mask
The swing craze and zoot suits: brought to you by white people 🙄
Jesus Was Way Cool
Every time I see a post on J-Town, it takes me back to a song that’s been in my head since the 90s, brought to you by John S Hall, the guy that brought you “Detachable Penis”
This is usually followed by a blackout
Today at work, someone said “he claims he is from Spain“, and I shouted in my highest pitched Brucio impression; “I CLAIM zees chest in the name of SPAIN!“ before I realized what I was doing
I’m never going to be the same after the James Fritz Past Times Episode
I just listened to it for a third time last weekend, and it never gets old. I could listen to them riff on RFK all day!
“Am I Truckasaurus?”
The Dug Chuckle theme
As I’ve mentioned to all you all before, I really love Nicole‘s lilting voice in the theme song. (She didn’t have to go that big, but she did). Today’s loud and brusque theme to the Dug Chuckle™️ just tickled me to no end. I rewound at least four times. She has an amazing voice, even when she’s goofing. Big voice goofin’
Silas Soule - Hoo boy
These episodes are punching me in the gut for several reasons, and it doesn’t help that my name is Silas and I live in Denver. I have visited the Sand Creek massacre exhibit at History Colorado, and you poor bastards have no idea what’s about to happen. If you think the ending to part two was sad, just fucking wait. I have seen and heard from the ancestors via video exhibits, and have physically touched the sacred ground on Sand Creek. The massacre was one of the most brutal, evil, and saddest fucking things I’ve ever seen in my life.
Don’t get too close to our hero Silas, that’s all I’ll say. The injustice will anger you.
