I’ve had my 2014 F31 since Feb. There has been no issue and I’ve used both hot and cold to their full.
All of a sudden there is a random smell. It’s not constant and I can’t work out if there is a particular time it kicks in.
The only way I can describe it is “faintly like wet dog” or a little bit musty.
Anyone come across this and any fixes or tips please??
Is there a way of checking the voltage output from the USB in my 2014 F31?
Does anyone else experience plugging in your phone and it shows it is charging but over an hour drive the battery percentage only rose by 1-2%!!
I have a 2014 Luxury 320d F31. Stage 1 remap so about 245bhp.
Love mine as it’s an absolute versatile chameleon. Can load up the kids bikes and roof rack pop her in eco and cruise the motorway to the coast with high mpg and complete comfort
Or I can go for a blast in sport mode and have some real fun.
In previous cars I have had a knob on the dash to “pitch” the light beam up or down. As yet I have not found one in my F31 or in the settings (as far as I can see). Does this generation not have one?
Are they self levelling?? I have a factory fitted automatic hidden tow bar. If I were to hitch up a trailer, would it know and adjust the beams??

My 2014 F31 has the optional leather sports seats, BUT they are not electric or heated. Whilst I appreciate I’d need to buy alternatives with electrics to gain that do they have the heating elements in that I can essentially “tap” into?? Or am I gonna have to keep an eye out for them on forums and eBay??
