BMW F31, the battery terminal was disconnected, after which the car went completely dead. Voltage is reaching the engine bay and the modules, and the fuses are intact. Nothing works on the car—no central locking, hazard lights, etc. However, pressing the trip meter button does make the mileage appear on the display.

I just did an m sport conversion on my F31, did all the new air ducts and shroud, removed the bar, and when I screw in the edges on top of the headlights one side will barely get to the holes that set them in place. Am I just dealing with an aftermarket bumper that doesn't fit or is this fixable? I've tried removing the center bracket support that goes in between the grilles but it still bows on the bottom area as shown in the picture.
I had to do this on my e90 and e36 years ago and I really don't want to get locked out of my radio again (not sure if that is still even a thing?)
What are you folks using for a 'memory saver' and should I be concerned about that?

I have a 2014 328d with the N47 (115k miles) that I am considering deleting emissions on. This is my daily driver for about a 45-50 mile TOTAL daily commute.
What has every one’s experience been with deleting emissions? Any regrets in doing so? Noise concerns? Smell concerns? Worse drive ability with aftermarket tune versus stock?

Been servicing the F31 every 6 months now due to it being high mileage (163,000), and this time noticed a massive discrepancy between the iDrive oil 'measure' and the dipstick. I removed the old oil via an extractor down the dipstick tube at the rear of the engine, and removed roughly 6.5 litres. Though it's hard to tell exactly as the extractor is filthy 🙄
I've put back in around 6 litres. I ran the car up to temp, and measured it via iDrive and it's showing roughly 1/3rd of the way. I then turned it off and let it sit for 5 mins and measured the dipstick, which is showing just under max.
I know the physical dipstick is more than likely much more reliable, but it seems like a massive difference? Shall I leave it as is?
Been reading a lot on retro fitting an oem M performance steering wheel on the base sport models. Seen lots of mixed results on if it is as simple as plug & play or not. If anyones done this any advice is appreciated!

I have a cracked OEM headlight on my 2018 330i M Sport.
I've just realised how EXPENSIVE it is to replace the headlight with an OEM headlight.
I'm sort of tempted to just buy one of those G20 laser look alike headlights for the same price.
Firstly.. is anyone selling one or recommend a reliable online store that has OEM headlights?
Secondly.. has anyone purchased/fitted the aftermarket G20 laser headlights on their F30? - If so, is it worth it and any issues with them?
