Pregnant at 42 and concerned about my age
I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant aged 42 (partner just turned 44) and already have a 4.5 year old. I’m fit and healthy (keen runner, don’t drink or smoke, eat healthily, not overweight etc.), but I can’t help feeling I’m too old to be having another child and concerned about how I’ll recover (I will need a second c section after a very traumatic birth with my first child) and health implications for the baby due to our age. Haven’t told anyone yet (partner aside!) as trying to process it all. Any insights would be appreciated, thanks!
