Give me advice plz

Wsp yall. I'm an incoming freshman for engineering and my top two majors of choice would either be MEEN or MMET. I've heard that the et@m process is very stressful for freshman and I want to be as prepared as possible as I'm a first gen student. For anyone who has et@m'ed already, how was your first year? What clubs or resources should I be aware of when I set foot onto campus? How do I stay locked in while not screwing over my health? Also if it helps I'd wanna go into the aerospace sector after graduating.
Any info helps, thanks for your time.

MEEN vs MMET

Howdy

I'm about to graduate high school and got accepted in the engineering school. Over my four years here I've decided that I'd like to do something hands-on, and in light of recent videos and Reddit posts I have seen, it seems like Mechanical engineering is pretty much another generic desk job. This led me to looking into Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technologies as this degree is more practical and hands-on or so I have read. Are job prospects strong for MMET in terms on satisfaction and salary? I am also aware that internships would strengthen job prospects. Thanks and any info will be appreciated!
