Helping people move to Germany for Ausbildung — is there real interest?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently close to finishing my Ausbildung in Germany (IT / Fachinformatiker), and I’ve been reflecting a lot on the whole journey recently.

I’m not originally from Germany myself, so I had to figure out everything on my own — moving here, dealing with bureaucracy, adapting to life in a new country, understanding how the Ausbildung system actually works, applications, interviews, integration, and everything around it.

Looking back, I realize how confusing and overwhelming this process can be when you’re starting from zero, especially if you’re coming from abroad and don’t really know where to begin.

Because of that, I thought it might be helpful to share my experience and maybe support people who are currently trying to follow a similar path.

Some of the topics I’ve personally gone through:

* how relocation to Germany works in practice

* what to prepare before moving

* what daily life / integration actually looks like

* how Ausbildung works beyond the official information

* finding Ausbildungsplätze

* CV / Bewerbung basics

* realistic German language expectations

* interviews / what companies actually look for

* general job search questions

Basically, the kind of things I wish someone had explained clearly to me when I was starting.

Would this kind of experience sharing / mentorship be useful for people here?

Moving to Germany with the goal of starting an Ausbildung

Hi everyone,

I’m currently close to finishing my Ausbildung in Germany (IT / Fachinformatiker) and I’ve been thinking about something recently.

I’m not originally from Germany myself and went through the whole process on my own — moving here, dealing with bureaucracy, adapting to life in a new country, learning how the Ausbildung system actually works, applying, interviews, integration, and everything around it.

Looking back, I realize how confusing and overwhelming this whole journey can be when you’re starting from zero, especially if you’re coming from a CIS country and don’t really know where to begin.

Because of that, I thought maybe I could be useful to other people who are currently considering this path.

Not trying to sell anything — genuinely just checking whether there’s interest.

I feel like I could realistically help with things like:

  • understanding how moving to Germany works
  • what to prepare before relocating
  • what everyday life / integration actually looks like
  • how Ausbildung works in reality (not just official theory)
  • finding Ausbildungsplätze
  • CV / Bewerbung basics
  • what German level you realistically need
  • interviews / expectations
  • general job search questions

Basically, the kind of things I wish someone had explained to me clearly when I was starting.

Would something like this actually be useful for people here?
