Loved this movie but had several questions bugging me.

In Sophia's memories, there is aways a person wearing a red hoodie escorting her son away. I both scenes, sophia is wearing a redI hoodie.Is this a metaphor for her guilt?
How do you think the boy was taken and killed? The stories about teenagers doing ritual and then no one was ever identified are confusing

And how does Her apology for not picking up her son from daycare at 330 lead into his abduction and being involved in an occult ritual?
