Nostril piercing bump hasn't gone away..
Hi I got my nostril pierced back on February 6th around February 22nd I snagged it a couple times and it developed a piercing bump...
I have flat back jewlery its titanium I believe.
I went back to my piercer early April because the bump still hadn't gone away they changed my jewlery top to a flatter top that covered the bump but they didn't downsize. They said there was a little room but decided not to do it. I was told to come back early June and that the piercing bump should be gone by mid May it's mid May and it almost looks worse after I had visited.
I have a bump on the inside and outside of my nose. The aftercare i was recommended originally was Nelimed piercing aftercare spray. I was told to spray it in the cap and use a qtip to clean the piercing then push it up and down and not twist it. When I went back in April they gave me tea tree oil to mix in with the saline to help the bump go away.
What can I do to make it go away. I tried leaving it alone for awhile ex not cleaning not touching ignoring it... I was told by my piercer it looks like a moisture bump (I have decently oily skin so maybe that contributes to it). I was for a bit just leaving droplets of saline on the piercing to clean it so I wasn't touching it but im not doing that anymore.
I can't get any decent photos so hopefully these work 😥 The tiny gem photo is from February 25th The picture of the inside of my nose is from today and same with the flatter jewlery. it definitely looks like it got bigger...
