I didn't realise Fallon had proposed the idea to Elizabeth. However from a business perspective, Freddie's instincts seem good to me. Was there any business plan, forecasting, consumer research? Also it seems unfair recruitment if the new post was not advertised.

Can anyone recommend a good walk (10 miles ish) with a pub roughly half way? Widdecombe circuit via Warren House Inn has been done.

Ideally I'd like to incorporate the pub at Merrivale. Seems to involve some road walking to keep it around 10 miles.from Princetown. Reason to park there is for the loo!
