I’ve been facing an incredibly frustrating issue for quite some time. When I apply fusion effects (today I’m using invert colour + grain + flicker), random single frames revert to their former ungraded LOG footage (Once this happens, the affected clips stay the same/this bug doesn’t affect other frames) Replacing the clip and re-colouring my clips from scratch do nothing.

[Note that I’m applying these fusion effects to adjustment clips, if that makes any difference]

However, when I reset my grade, then compose my fusion adjustment clips, then colour the clips, the issue seems to be resolved (for now!)

So, I’m wondering; is this some professional workflow process that I’m unaware of, where you’re supposed to colour grade last in order to avoid this sort of conflict, just because that’s how Davinci processes things?

I’d love to know if I’m right about this as it’s a problem I don’t otherwise know how to fix. Thanks!
