Which MAFEX Gambit should I get? Original vs. Comic Variant?

I'm planning to pick up a MAFEX Gambit, but I'm torn between the original comic version and the recent comic variant.

Which one do you guys recommend and why? Is it just a matter of paint/color preference, or are there any differences in QC (Quality Control) or joints between the two releases?

Mezco One:12 Doctor Doom - LED in Cosmic Power Siphon Harness not working. Battery replacement?

Hey guys,
I'm having an issue with my Mezco One:12
Doctor Doom. The LED effect on the Cosmic Power Siphon Harness isn't working at all.
I was wondering if the battery is replaceable. I don't want to force anything open and risk breaking the harness, so I figured I'd ask here first. Has anyone successfully changed the battery on this specific piece?
