Apparently they’re reissuing Nightwing again so I’m trying to decide if I should buy the Mezco or mafex. I have the Mezco red hood so a part of me wants to go full Mezco but I haven’t been able to find a Batman. If I go Mafex I’ll probably also get the LPZZ hush Batman since it looks a lot better than the Mafex. Bat fam would probably be easier going non Mezco but the hunt is fun.
Prices for each are 125usd for Mezco and 70usd for Mafex

I had the day off for the holidays and I’ve been thinking about doing this custom and I said screw let’s do it. I think it turned out pretty good may not be perfect but I’m proud of it. Tell what y’all think?

Got back into collecting mez properly last year, happy to say I finally have my first Gomez and it’s the one I was more than happy to add to the collection, such a sick release

Personally I’m baffled as to why this cost 120 but comes with less than the standard. Not to trash Mezco but this is a miss, as of writing this post, 318 units still available to purchase.

From a buyers perspective it’s easy to dismiss this offering as it comes with less, but from a business perspective, why sell a niche reskin with less accessories? Not trashing, just curious. What do you guys think?

This captain America is just fantastic really!!! The quality and feel is amazing. A little lacking on accessories would have loved one more face with battle damaged and a shield with some battle damage. Some kind of gun would also be cool I was a little leg down that it didn’t have a good gripping hand because I wanted to give him a Vietnam kind of look just for fun 😂.

Let me know if you would be interested to see the collection and display after I get some of my orders. I have Revoltech Woody and buzz on the way together with Mezco Thor and Mafex Astro boy. And then all of my pre orders for later this year.

Just got this cape in from Tony Mei on Insta. While I like the included Mezco cape, Tony makes these capes out of beautifully silky material so that it drapes properly and can fully close around Batman like in the show.

No bendy wires for dynamic poses, but it’s very easy to swap out the capes since the cowl is on a ball peg (similar to Mezco neck pegs). I didn’t even use heat to pop it off, but you could if you wanted.

I’ll post proper photos soon with lighting and diorama pieces, but just wanted to show what customisers can do :)
