Have an idea for a boss fight

Replayed some of the old games and then went through some of my old notes. It looks like years ago I had an idea for a boss fight involving Ripper Roo. Does anyone think it would work.

apparently the fight would start with Crash in a large room with a tiled floor. Roo would be on a ledge with a cannon. Next to him is (from my chicken scratch drawings) a barrel with the straps of a backpack, seemingly intended to be worn as one. Roo fires at crash bombs from the cannon, most of which explode on impact, but there is always one that does not explode right away. Crash must reach this bomb and spin it back to disable the cannon.

its at this point that the fight briefly turns into a chase. Roo puts on the barrel backpack thing and jumps off the ledge. Turns out, that barrel is full of explosives and fireworks. A door opens up and Crash must run down a hallway with Ripper roo chasing. With each bounce, roo shoots fireworks on the floor behind him, so the player can’t just cheese the fight by sneaking behind him, they’ll get blown up if they try. Roo shoots ahead of Crash sticks of dynamite (which can be spun away) and some fireworks that make holes in the floor (these holes are randomized so it’s different each playthrough)

Eventually, they reach a point on the floor of the hallway which Crash can jump over but Roo jumps into and is stunned (maybe some exposed wiring or something). Crash spins Roo and he goes bouncing off the walls until he lands back on the ledge in the original arena with the tiled floor, which the player now makes their way to.

Upon Crash’s return to this arena, Roo drops enough TNT crates to cover a third of all the tiles, which are destroyed after detonation and replaced with holes. Roo fires bombs again and Crash must spin the one that did not explode right away. For the next chance down the hallway, Roo, in addition to what he already shoots, also fires ahead of crash some Nitro crates suspended from the ceiling by nets or ropes (or maybe they just float there like they do sometimes). Crash would need to slide under these suspended Nitro crates to avoid them. Like the holes, these would be randomized, so even an experienced player would have to think on their feet about when to slide and when to jump.

Ripper Roo would have three lives in this fight, and he’d lose a life each time he is spun after being stunned at the end of the hallway chase.

would this work as a boss fight or is it too convoluted? would it work for ripper roo? the chaos and explosions both fit him, though being chased feels more like a fight with tiny. still, I think this mostly fits roo better thematically. what do you think?

Designed my own Poker Night at the Inventory Card Set. Had someone print them.

Bonus points if you can guess who’s on the jokers.

It is my understanding that the only way I can add custom dialogue to a map from the puzzle editor is to export it to hammer. Is there a way to do this or is it too buggy? My intention is to add some custom dialogue and have an exploding first aid kit mounted to a wall as a gag, but make no further changes.

The videos on YouTube are missing the lines from Portal 2 level pack, such as Cave planning to raffle off old shower curtains as a piece of company history, or asking the player to think of leaking pipes as part of the test. I think the lines they have are from the portal 2 world. Since you can’t buy Lego Dimensions anymore, is there another way to find these lines?
