I’m working in IT and currently I’m onmaternity leave for another 6months And I’m terrified to go back to work.

What audiobooks/ podcasts regarding AI would be worth listening during that time to not feel that left behind once I will be back to work? I’m a bit lost. What skill would be worth learning to have in 2027?

Other podcasts/books regarding softs skills or anything else are also welcomed.

I don’t know what I’m looking for - an advise, motivation or just to be hear.

Im 33 yo mum of two (3 yo and 5 months) currently on maternity leave which lasts 1 year in my country. Like most mums, I take care of the house, baby and baby and toddler once he is back from the daycare

My mental state recently dropped - I feel isolated, pointless, useless, with an impression that there is nothing excited coming in the future. I can’t motivate myself to do anything and I can’t accomplish anything. I feel guilty that I dont cherish this time with the baby and plan something nice everyday.

I have some village - I meet with my mom and my mother in law everyday as they drop off the toddler form the daycare. I have friends with child childless and we message regularly. I spend most evening with my husband and we have family weekends usually. I’m also afraid of coming back to work, I would like to change the job but it will be difficult with two small children, also I’m afraid of how job market will look like in terms of AI replacing jobs etc (I work in IT) - it paralysis me for doing anything to learn something new.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me and how to get out of that state
