Hi all,
I'm Valentín, solo indie dev out of Madrid. I just put my Android trivia game *Mentium* into early access on Google Play, and I need a hand.
Game Title: Mentium: AI Trivia & Quiz Game
Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kingislandentertainment.mentium&pcampaignid=web_share
Platform: Android
Description: 13 game modes, 10 languages with culturally-anchored question banks (not just translated US ones), 5 rival personalities, and no mandatory paywall. The thing I'm most proud of is the AI rival — it runs on Gemini and actually remembers you across matches. Your weak categories, your panic patterns, the time you bluffed and got away with it. After a handful of games it stops playing the questions and starts playing you.
Free to Play Status:
- [YUP] Free to play
Involvement: The solo dev of Mentium
**Bugs I haven't caught yet.** Solo dev = blind spots everywhere. If something crashes, freezes, looks weird on your specific Android version or screen size, please tell me. Even tiny things help ("this button is misaligned in landscape on a Pixel 7"). Screenshots welcome.
**Does the AI rival feel fun or annoying after 20 matches?** Honest take. Does the memory effect feel real, or does it read as scripted?
**Mode balance.** Are some modes way harder than others? Does one feel like filler? Which one hooks you?
**Localization.** If you play in a non-Spanish/English language, are the questions actually relevant to your country/culture? Anything that reads like Google Translate?
**Anything I'm missing as a solo dev.** Onboarding too long? Economy too generous or too stingy? UX that doesn't hold for non-trivia-nerds?
If you play 10 matches during early access, you unlock the Beta Pioneer set (avatar + frame + banner + title + Reliquia chest). It disappears when early access ends — only the people who showed up early get it.
