It's often said Far Cry 4 fails to give us an explanation for why Ajay is so willing to join an active civil war, but I think I've found one

He's procrastinated the task of taking his mom to Lakshmana for over a decade and is thinking to himself "if I don't do this now, I'm just never gonna get around to it"

Because if Bhadra is a reincarnation of Ajay's mom, and Bhadra's, like, 12? 13? Around that age, so Ajay's mom must've been dead for 12 or 13 years, so Ajay's been putting this task off for over a decade and is in such, "alrighty, i gotta get this done" energy that going into an active warzone and participating is an option

Anyone who's put off writing an essay or other school project till the last minute would understand
