Any suggestions on a light easy to use cordless vacuum for an elderly person?
Hey all, bit of a random question. My great nan has clung onto her old upright Oreck vacuum for years now, and it’s served her well. However, due to age (she’s 95 now) and fortunately not very advanced but still present vascular dementia; she’s finding it harder and harder to use.
So she’s asked me to go find an alternative cordless. One of the biggest sticking points I’ve found on researching and trying some in stores however; is many are too complicated, or are too fiddly to be able to empty with arthritis and her occasionally forgetful state. Ones that didn’t make the cut were the Dyson V10 (emptying handle needed too much force to push down), the Samsung Jet 60/70/90 (clipping the canister back on can be very finicky and she struggled with this.
So I was hoping that anyone could make some suggestions, and I’ll see if I can get hands on them to try. Thank you.
