I am new here just moved here with my wife , I am Egyptian and still learning Spanish...wanted to meet my neighbors but not sure if I will find English speakers around.

I work with a bank and i have debt with the same bank, i got an offer outside uae and told.my management to leave the right way but now i am worried they will stop me as per my debt.

My question is , before i officially resign can they do anything about it legally? Or am i just panicking
