Looking to replace my OEM battery (24 Crosstrek). In my area, AGM batteries are readily available and cheaper (ty Costco) then EFB (which would either have to be through the dealer, yuck, or special ordered since auto stores don't seem to carry EFBs readily).

I see many posts that the swap is completely fine (and preferred) but there are a few posts that say they have issues. For anyone that made the swap, did you have reset the ECU or battery management system for the AGM to charge properly? Or can it be simply just plug and play.
