Every year at state testing time I wonder why AUSD should take credit for the high scores our 2 kids post on these tests. The school they have attended have done very little to further develop them. They’re just great self-learners. They have had to be. Our kids are in MS, does it get better in HS? Would AUSD even care if we had our kids opt out of these state tests?
ADDENDUM: Nobody is opting out. I asked if AUSD cares if they did. Ok, chill. There seems to be an affirmative answer to my question about things being better in HS. That’s good and being treated like a number until then is great training for the corporate world.
