Favorite game/Personal Impact: Bloodborne - Has my favorite lore out of any game. I love the setting to death as well as the trick weapons. Not to mention, it came to me at a good time in my life right after I graduated high school and was also my first Souls-like and introduced me to the genre.
Favorite story: Expedition 33 - Absolutely loved the world and characters. The game had me in tears, and I loved it to death.
Favorite art style: Dragon Quest 3 Remake - HD2D is just... it's so good. Absolutely beautiful. Feels modern and nostalgic at the same time.
Best combat: Sekiro - Not many games come close to the tight and amazing combat this game has. Usually, I don't like parry focused games, but Sekiro is the absolute best of them.
Overhated: Doom The Dark Ages - A lot of people hate on it because of how different it is compared to Doom Eternal, but I personally like it more than Eternal and love the weight and feel of the game.
Underrated/Overlooked: Mortal Shell - Could also go in overhated tbh. This was the first game by the studio and has its flaws, but the atmosphere is unmatched, and the harden mechanic is so unique and interesting that I can't help but overlook the flaws and enjoy it for what it is.
Overrated: Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gotta be honest, I've never seen why this game gets so much glaze. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, but people blow how good it is out of proportion. The gunplay also just... isn't all that.
Needs a remake: Castlevania - One of my favorite games of all time. I would love to see it get a visual overhaul by the Blasphemous devs.
Best protagonist: Raziel, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver - Such a complex and interesting character with an amazing voice actor. Everyone go and play these games, PLEASE.
Favorite antagonist: Iguazu, Armored Core 6 - The BIGGEST hater in all of gaming. I fucking love him.
Best soundtrack: Armored Core 6 - Bro, I listen to this shit nonstop. Disk 3 should've been what they went with for the game.
Best multiplayer: Space Marine 2 - The only multiplayer game I've really gotten into. I love playing with random and friends going through missions.
Usually not my thing but...: Firewatch - Not one for walking sims, but the art style and story kept me hooked until the very end.
Turn my brain off: Dead Cells - It's what I play to relax after a stressful day of work.
Best with friends: Remnant 2 - Played through thus multiple times. Once with one of my best friends, and another with my boyfriend. It's just a ton of fun.
Best retro game: Castlevania Symphony of the Night - A classic that gets all the love it deserves. One of my favorite games ever and truly is one of, if not THE, greatest Metroidvanias.
Nostalgic childhood game: God of War - I've played the series since I was five. I have fond memories of playing through both GoW 1 and 2 with my dad. Praying the remakes are done well.
Game everyone should play: Armored Core 6 - Some of the best combat of all time, an engaging story, EXTREME amounts of customization and variety, new story/equipment/missions all the way to NG+3... It's just too good. Everyone pick it up and give it a shot.
