100% Completed Dragon Quest III 2D-HD Remake

After taking yall advice, I decided to do the post-game. The completionist in me wanted to 100% the game as much as possible. After defeating Zoma,

  • I reclassed all 3 of my party members to have all the abilities (including Channel Anger). (Wanted to keep hero on the party for the entire run).
  • Leveled all members to level 99.
  • I defeated Xenlon multiple times to be granted all the wishes.
  • Captured all 121 monsters.
  • Collected all 110 mini-medals.
  • Defeated the Grand Dragon to receive the Grand medal.

Unfortunately on the Switch there are no trophies or achievements :/

As my first ever Dragon Quest game, all I gotta say is wow. The game and series is pretty captivating. I spent about 100 hours on this run and really took my time and fought every encounter. I did not use Holy protection until the end when looking for missing medals and monsters. I got Dragon Quest I&II 2D-HD remake on deck, so that's the next move for me! Moving forward I now know to track collectibles so I don't have to go check every spot again lmao.

Joined 2 Weeks ago, Finished First DQ Game

Posted here 2 weeks ago after purchasing both DQ3 2D-HD & 1&2 2D-HD. After 71:48 hours on Draconian Mode (Taking my time through the story), I can say damn this game was fun as hell. Still needa grind medals, monsters, monster arena as well. Wanted to know if should skip post game or go straight into 1. Heard it gets grindy! But wow what a game, definitely a Dragon Quest Fan from here on out, look forward to playing 1&2 2D-HD, then VII Reimagined, then XIS!

Came up on these two games for $55 total!
(LM3 Sealed, Eevee pre-owned). How’d i do?
Any tips for these two games ?
Never played any Luigi’s Mansion, how’s the co-op?! Plan to play the entire game in that mode.

Never played DQ but it always appealed to me. Got both for $60 total. (50% off for both). Should I ply 1 > 2 > 3 or 3 > 1 > 2.

Coming from Pokemon, don’t know what to expect! Any tips or advice before I start? Hella excited!

EDIT: Played a little bit last night and wanted to know the general consensus on speed of battle (normal, fast, ultra-fast) as well as having the party on Auto battle.

Its my first time anything DQ so i’m unsure if its best to play on normal speed or control the entirety of the party through every battle to fully get the experience.
