New Canadian Forces Small Arms

Colt Canada showcased the 13.7” C25 General Service, 15.7” C26 Full-Spectrum, and C27 ‘Eagle’ 40mm Grenade Launcher were recently shown off at CANSEC. The C25 will be issued with a 1-6x LPVO, while the C26 will be issued with a 1-10x LPVO. Featuring a Monolithic upper receiver, MFMD, Ergo grips, Magpul accessories, as well as room on the scope mounts for piggyback optics.

CC is still showing them with aluminum magazines, but Magpul recently announced they were selected as the magazine tender to provide windowless PMAG’s for the rifles.

This is a big upgrade over the venerable 20” C7A2 and 15.7” C8A3. The first batch of C25’s are going to be priority issued to troops and Latvia, with 30,000 rifles being planned to be delivered by the end of this year.
