Been shopping around for a while, and I don't think I can stomach paying the toyota/Honda tax (10 year old cars with 150,000 miles listed at $15k).

Started reading about Ford fusion hybrids and read that they have same engine/system as a camry. Are they or other Ford hybrids comparably reliable? I've seen 2018-19 fusion hybrids with 80,000 miles listed for around $10k.

Looking for a car to replace my daily with good gas mileage and a functional backseat. It doesn't need to be huge but big enough for a carseat and backpacks.
