Im new to the whole EV thing. Got my edrive35 a c last week and love it. But it seems like charging is being slow for the first few hours. The super fast charging (+150kw) usually works immediately but when I plug in at slow/medium chargers (7-15kw) it is always throttled at about 1kw for the first few hours.
Like on Friday it did 4% the first 5 hours then 45% in the next 3 hours. I’m charging up at work right now and the estimated time completed is tomorrow afternoon. This one is supposed to be up to 16kw but it’s still only doing 1kw.
It makes it hard to plan my afternoon. If for some reason it decides not to charge one day I’ll have to delay my commute at least another hour looking for a super fast charger.
Any thoughts or tips?
