When I got my mpc sample I also went and picked up a used MPC live 2. I have a dead MPC one + (rip my power supply messed something up and it won't turn on) so I wasn't completely unfamiliar with MPC workflow. Prior to getting the live I was having so much just chopping and creating ideas and moving on to the next but now I'm finishing beats by moving them to the live 2. I'm mainly a sample based producer and I have to say, the ability to get my ideas out quickly on the sample make this flow work great. The simplicity of just chopping and creating a sequence has been a dream. anybody else doing something similar?
