A very nice woman who works at the downtown Walnut Creek Peet’s coffee complimented me a cold brew for passing my motorcycle knowledge permit test today.

I bought this yellow 2007 Vespa lx 150 ie on facebook marketplace back in early March of 2026. I had no mechanical history and had to register it with 2024 plates. That cost me a pretty penny to get her registered. It rode with a high idle and then stopped turning over. I got a new battery but still it wouldn’t turn over. Luckily my dad knows how to work on cars and scooters. It ended up my fuel lines were plugged. My dad cleared the lines and she started back up and turned down the idle. Now she starts right up and rides more civilized. I’ve added a custom seat cover that I designed and had some parts repainted. Owning a Vespa has always been a dream of mine. But I also love my 23’ Honda metropolitan.
