Finally binged Shooting Stars after dodging it on Netflix forever. What did y'all think?

So Netflix kept pushing this on my feed, and after seeing it all over Reddit, I finally gave in.

Ngl, the first few episodes felt like a drag and I dropped it like 2 or 3 times because I got bored. But once the romance between the main leads started developing, I really got into it and loved it from there!

While it might not be the absolute best drama out there, but if you want a lighthearted romcom with good chemistry, some steamy scenes, and solid comedy, it hits the spot. The main cast is definitely the best part, and the ML is so charming. The first half of the season is definitely stronger. Even though it dragged a bit toward the end and wasn't as strong in certain parts, I still found it interesting and satisfying overall.

For those who’ve seen it, what did you think? How was your experience?

Which K-drama clichés are you totally over?

I’ve been into K-dramas for 7 years now and I feel like most of the shows are just checking off a list of recycled tropes.

The biggest things that annoy me are the unnecessary childhood connection, the FL acting childish, and those totally random breakups in the final episodes that make no sense. That said,I still love a good opposites attract dynamic,a really solid enemies-to-lovers arc,a healthy power couple who actually tackles obstacles together as a team,or even a wholesome found family vibe when they’re actually done right.

What about you? Which tropes are you totally over and which ones do you still love?

Just finished Doctor Slump and I’m lowkey obsessed🫶🏻

I finally watched Doctor Slump and wow… why did I wait this long!😭

It’s been a while since a drama made me feel this comfortable. The chemistry, the humor, the healing vibe everything about it felt so heartwarming. The romance was adorable without trying too hard, the friendship moments were wholesome, and the comedy timing was soo good 😭 Now I desperately need something with the same vibe.please recommend dramas similar to this🫶🏻
