Finally decided on my paint scheme for my IF. Ive tried so many versions, and have struggled more with the yellow than anything Ive painted. Ive tried contrast, slap chop, 4 thin coats etc, etc. Nothing worked well for me. Blotchy, streaky yellows that didnt cover well. I tried this as a last ditch, and ended up really liking it. Its kind of a rough dry brush effect that looks kind of gritty/grimdarkish and hides my lack of skill with yellow pretty well I think. 8th company, Dorn's Huscarls, rebuilt by Black Templars (my main army) and today used as training ground for IF soldiers to work our their rage.
