Selling RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah/6Ah/12Ah HIGH PERFORMANCE Batteries!

Hello everyone! I had to get some of my RYOBI 18V batteries warrantied, and I got some new ones back, except I don't need them anymore as I'm currently using my other batteries. I'm willing to sell them at a discount compared to HomeDepot, so be sure to grab some while they last!

CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah + PD-Nation RYOBI adapter is the lightest!

I've taken the time to weigh out the difference in mass (grams) between the CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah battery while equipped with the PD-Nation RYOBI adapter and RYOBI's 18V ONE+ 4Ah batteries (Standard, HP, and HP EDGE).

Here are my results:

  • 636g CEENR PD-Nation 4Ah battery equipped + PD-Nation RYOBI adapter (1p5s 21700)
  • 711g RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah battery (PBP005; 2p5s 18650)
  • 718g RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah HP battery (PBP004; 2p5s 18650)
  • 681g RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah HP EDGE battery (PBP1004; 1p5s 21700; tabless)
  • 1044g* CEENR PD-Nation 8.0Ah battery equipped + PD-Nation RYOBI adapter (2p5s 21700)

*a surprise guest in this testing

Despite all of the 4Ah batteries containing 72Wh in total capacity, the CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah battery paired with the PD-Nation RYOBI adapter offers the lightest solution, with a similar runtime and a better performance profile than both the RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah and 4Ah HP batteries thanks to its premium quality Molicel P42A 21700 cells, but it still falls short compared to the RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah HP EDGE due to its lack of tabless cells, better BMS performance management (as noted by the TorqueTestChannel on YouTube), and RYOBI's HP contact pins/communications to unlock the full potential of RYOBI's 18V ONE+ HP tool performance.

Something to note, however, is that the CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah features a built-in PD (Power Delivery) Type-C port for inputting up to 45W to charge the battery at 2.25A speeds. It may also be used as a power bank with the built-in USB-A (up to 18W) and PD Type-C ports (again, up to 45W) to supply your mobile device charging needs on the go without the need for the purchase of an additional adapter or top-off unit. The CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah supports Samsung's PPS protocol for Super Fast Charging (1.0; up to 25W speeds).

This comparison has been made solely between the 4Ah batteries, as all feature 72Wh in capacity. RYOBI's 18V ONE+ 1.5Ah and 2Ah batteries (including the HP variant) have been excluded in this comparison purposely.

They had sent me the newer battery manual with one of my RMA replacement batteries that stated two new models, the PBP1108 and the PBP1112. I tried calling customer service and asking what they were, but they said it wasn't in their database... sus.

Attached is a picture I took back in January of 2026.

6A Fast Charging for CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah and 8.0Ah batteries!⚡️⚡️⚡️

Achieve 6A Fast Charging for the CEENR PD-Nation 4.0Ah and 8.0Ah batteries using the CEENR 6A Fast Charger for Black&Decker and the CEENR PD-Nation Black&Decker adapter!

This is a big step up from the 45W Type-C charging speeds for the smaller PD-Nation 4.0Ah batteries, taking it up to 120W, more than 2.5 times as fast! Additionally, top-off your PD-Nation 8.0Ah batteries 20% faster!

*Please note that Picture 2 showcasing the CEENR PD-Nation 8.0Ah battery on the 6A Fast Charger exhibits a slower charging current as it is almost fully charged.

**Additional note: Faster charging speeds are known to increase wear, shorten lifespan, and reduce overall cycle count of the internal battery cells due to higher heat generation, chemical aging, and thermal degradation.

***Extra extra note: This form of charging for the PD-Nation 4.0Ah and 8.0Ah batteries is certainly safe as the batteries feature high-quality 21700 cells from Molicel/Lishen and are designed for high-input/output performance. The PD-Nation batteries also have a smart BMS with built-in protections against overcharging and over-heating. The PD-Nation batteries are limited to 45W/100W Type-C charging (respectively) due to the design and hardware implementation/costs to make Type-C charging feasible. But similarly to other power tool batteries from brands like Milwaukee, Dewalt, RYOBI as well as CEENR'S own premium third-party replacement batteries, PD-Nation batteries can also charge at 6A speeds and maybe even faster using compatible equipment.
