Im going to be starting mma towards the end of this month but i need to get some gear. I only really need the shin pads and gloves at the minute because I wont be doing any sparring just yet but will get the remaining stuff later (sparring gloves, groin guard etc).

Does anyone have any suggestions for brands? Im currently looking at some stuff by Venum or RDX but as I havent trained in mma before I need something decent for beginners that will last a little while and wont fall apart.

Ive got a budget of maybe £150 but could possibly stretch to £200 (ideally for everything)

Any suggestions are welcome.
