Why bother putting drafted units?

If your just going to make the Sortie completely unwinnable with that character? If you dont know what "Revolt" does it reduces damage past 2 hits to 1 dmg. If the run didn't absolutely destroy my healing and shielding by turn 4 i may have made it. They really need to remove sustain degradation. Not every character can do 40k dmg in 5 turns and I dont want to just run Heidmarie, Mei-Lin, or Serenial every run.

Few systems in Sorties stifle deck building

Really enjoying Sorties and the rng involved, it really does feel like a deck building rogue like with a huge cast of characters. The only complaint I have is some design decisions that really stifle your deck building choices especially on higher difficulties.

One of these systems are the reduction of healing and shielding per turn. The decision to remove the potential for a healing or shield focused team really hurts the deck building potential and forces a "deal all the damage" playstyle. All my attempts to proceed through Sorties when presented with good large number of sustain options have failed because you just get out scaled very fast in the later parts of the run which brings me to the other system in place.

Enemies getting 1-2 moral every turn, this change to monster action seems vastly unnecessary. While I dont think having enemies scale is bad as it puts alittle urgency to the fights, placing a healthy amount of checks for the deck your building whether its do you have enough shielding damage or healing. I do not think having enemies scale 20-40% every turn is good design especially when you combine it with the degeneration of healing and shielding per turn.

Over all i enjoy Sorties it scratches that Rogue like itch i get from time to time and let's me use units that would otherwise sit in my box collecting dust. I just feel they could increase difficulty of the runs with out completely removing the viability of different playstyles that arent just deal as much damage in the shortest amount of time.
