I have a seasonic vertex 1000, which has 3 pcie, one gen 5 and some peripheral/sata/molex ports, a 7900xtx, which has 3 pcie slots, also corsair rx icue hub which requires a pcie slot, I would daisy chain into the gpu, or if possible with gpu and hub, but I cant find a cable for that, is running 2 pcie into 7900xtx okay. A long time ago I tried plugging the hub into a sata when I 1st had pc and i believe it shorted. But I dont think I have any serious damage to anything, only mobo rgb comes off and on sometimes, plan on getting a new motherboard soon.
