We Should Be Proud.
I’m a Jordanian born in Canada. I’ve only been lucky enough to visit Jordan once. Despite that I’ve been raised as a Jordanian with Jordanian pride in my blood. Seeing us make it to the World Cup, our anthem being played for the world as our flag is displayed for everyone to see is an indescribable feeling. If you could see the pride on everyone’s faces here in Canada, with their Jordan flags on their cars, honking at each other as we see a fellow Jordanian driving by. It was amazing. It sucks we couldn’t get a win, but it took Canada three World Cup appearances to get a win. We will be back.
Proud to be a Jordanian Canadian and inshallah will visit the motherland once again.
