DBA Strategy & Innovation Flex Start Date 10-12-26

I know this is a long shot this early, but I am looking for anyone else starting the DBA Strategy & Innovation Flex program on the October 12, 2026 start date.
My goal is to pull together an unofficial cohort group so we can support each other through the program. In my experience, having a solid group of peers to compare notes and share encouragement is the best way to stay motivated.

A little about me:

I am coming into this program with a background from WGU, including:

• Bachelor of Science Business Administration Marketing

• Master of Business Administration

• Master of Science in Marketing
(Marketing Analytics Specialization)

My personal goal is to hyper-accelerate, but I am open to connecting with anyone regardless of their planned pace. If you are starting in October, please drop a comment or send me a DM!

Black Wasps in Northern Idaho that all seem disoriented

Of course Reddit would have communities specifically for wasps lol. Okay, so there are these black wasps everywhere in Northern Idaho. They all seem disoriented and move slowly. I don’t like to kill insects or spiders, but these wasps are getting on my last nerve. Anyone have any idea why they act so disoriented and is there anything I can do to just keep them away without hurting them? Thank you!

Mice in the Building…not joking

I went to watch Mortal Kombat at the Coeur d’Alene Idaho location. I’m an unlimited member and had been to every auditorium except the one I was in, so I was looking around, internally judging the tacky red and green colored lights and it happens. I see something moving, way too big to be an insect, and too small to be a cat. I rip off my glasses to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing. I swear it stopped right under the lights, mean mugging me, like “watchu going to do son.” My brain panicked and I immediately lifted up my feet off the ground I found myself sitting in the side saddle position not knowing what to do. I literally thought about calling the theater and telling a member of management that I felt stuck and too paralyzed to make a run for it. I spent at least an hour trying to hype myself up to get the courage to get up and leave. I searched online for any information on whether or not this is just a thing that happens at movie theaters. To my horror, it is. Apparently because of staffing issues at movie theaters, nothing really gets deep cleaned as often as it should, which attracts mice. I finally did a countdown and started doing some deep breathing and finally made a run for it. I don’t think I even watched 5-10 minutes of the movie and left about an hour before it ended. I know I need to call and report it but I hate complaining. Any Karen would’ve made a scene, but as a former entrepreneur, I’m one of those guys that can get the worse service and just write it off as the person was just having a bad day. Also, as an unlimited member, it’s not like they are going refund the ticket, and at .54 cents per ticket, I would never in a million years ask them to. When I left and could finally breathe, I was walking to my car and I noticed all of the mouse trap boxes along the wall and so it’s not like they aren’t making an effort to make the auditoriums mice-free. Actually, now that I think about it, it wasn’t a mouse, it was definitely a rat. Oh deal lord. I’m scarred for life and don’t think I’m going to use the remaining month or two of my membership. I need therapy lol.
