(M4F) The Search
(Before we get into this, no I am not looking to replace anyone, so fret not my established friends, you are safe)
To those newcomers, howdy! I am a 24M, been roleplaying for an entire decade!
A little more about before we jump into the good stuff: Ive been writing for 10 years now; RP, dnd, you name it. I write semi-lit, and try to meet the maximum for discords word limit (if you dont thats fine)!
I hope you are doing well. As the ominous title suggests, I’m in the search for something semi-specific. Either historical fantasy, or modern urban fantasy. Let me explain:
—For the “historical fantasy,” it would be something medieval. Maybe I’d play a knight sworn by oath to protect you (Princess, Queen, noble, your choice!) During this, I’d like to explore all parts of what it could look like to live in this time: Politics, war, but most of all… DRAMA! Make our characters go through it. I want to lay awake at night thinking about how bad I feel for my feller. I’m okay with magical elements as well, so if that’s more your speed then let me know!) (Just to let me know you’re still with me, let me know if you’re ever played a DND, and if so, tell me your favorite character!)
—As for our second option, the “modern urban fantasy,” think something like ‘The Atlas Six’ series, if you know that. If not, pretty much magicians, magic users, etc baked into our world. Maybe they get invited to a magic society, or maybe there’d a magical war going on beneath everyone’s noses! Again, if you decide to reach out, this is a collaborative effort!
MY REQUIREMENTS!
-I don’t really have any. I just ask you to be literate. Describe the scene to me, what your character sees and hears and smells. Also, please don’t give any half baked, two sentence replies.
-I also like to talk OOC, and make friends as well, so if that’s not your thing, then maybe it wont work.
-18+ IS MANDATORY
-Be understanding: what i mean by this— I work a full time job, and go to graduate school full time. I tend to be busy at times, but I will communicate with you if I cant reply.
