Is SMT V Vengeance worth getting if I've already played through Metaphor? Is the gameplay meaningfully different or is it more of the same?

The game's on sale right now so I'm considering getting it. Appreciate any input.

Edit: Thank you for all the comments I’ve decided to pick the game up and give it a try.

Either Annie or her father should've died.

Annie is in my opinion the character that's least deserving of a happy ending. She's killed a countless number of people in incredibly cruel ways, she shows no remorse for any of her actions claiming she'd do it again and all of it just to see her abusive father. At least the other warriors fought for what they believed was the greater good, that they were a part of something bigger than themselves.

By the end of it all Bertolt died and Reiner was so racked with guilt over what he'd done that he was contemplating killing himself yet Annie takes a four year nap and gets to skate by with zero consequences.

Every other character in the show had to give up something be it their lives, their humanity, their comrades sometimes all of the above and it makes sense, after all it's a cruel world isn't it? But for some reason Annie is the exception, she kills countless people and goes home to the only person she's ever cared about while no character treats her like the small, selfish and cruel person that she is. It would've been more fitting if her father died and everything she did was for nothing just like Reiner realizing that the "devils" of paradise were just regular people after all.
