are mandatory tips normal?
I went to dutch bros today and got a drink. I usually tip the workers because they are always so pleasant, but today the worker didn't ask for a tip like they always do, so I brought it up and asked about it.
The worker then said there was a 20% suggested tip and told me how much it cost, but that was after I had paid which meant they added it without telling me.
Is that normal?
