M23 and F23 I lie to her but idk why
Hi guys,
so I want to tell you a little bit about the situation I'm currently facing. Me and my girlfirend have been togerher for 11 months now. I'm still good friends with one of my exes, we have been friends for 10 years and 2 of them we were in a relationship which eventually didn't work out. But I still like her and we text sometimes and casually meet. My girlfriend doesn't like it and told me that she doesn't want me to meet my ex aslong there are no friends or her with us.
This was months ago and I tried to respect the boundaries but 3 days ago I wanted to bring her some stuff I borrowed because I didn't need it anymore. Then she told me that she has a new car and that she wanted to go for a drive with me. Since she was happy about it, I just joined her even though I knew this would hurt my girlfriend.
While we were driving I texted my girlfriend and she was pissed about it and we almost broke up but she gave me another chance. I should probably say that this was the second time and I don't get why I do it???
Forward 2 days later
I was with with my girlfriend yesterday but had to drive home. When I connected my phone with the Bluetooth device in my car I accidently called my ex but hung up. I was afraid of what my girlfriend would think of it because I called my ex again, so I deleted the call..
When I went back to my gf I told her that I accidentaly called my ex and I lied that the call just deleted itself, she didn't believe me and we had a huge fight again because I lied to her.. I just don't get why I lie to her?? I told her that she is everything for me but she replied with that this isn't true because than I wouldn't lie to her. I know that she is right but idk how to fix this?
She gave me another chance to fix this problem..
This was the 3th time I lied to here because I was embarresed of what I did... HOW DO I SOLVE THIS???
