My wife ran the half marathon today. We traveled with our 3 kids from Central Ohio on Friday, walked about 7 miles (roughly 11km) with no problems on Saturday. Went up the CN Tower, took the ferry to Centre Island, spent some time at St Lawrence Market… it was great, despite my feet hurting.
As we were leaving today at around 1pm, my goodness, the traffic. The lights were out of sync, pedestrians crossing while the sign was flashing for them not to… it was a mess.
But then the entitlement of some people. I was turning right at an intersection, and traffic was stopped on the street I was turning onto, so I was kinda stuck in the middle. The cars trying to turn left onto the same street were pulling into the intersection despite there being no room and forced their way in twice. Then when I wouldn’t let them cut me off again on the freeway, flipped ME off.
Is this normal? Is it normal for people to drive in the passing lane and refuse to move, also? And why can’t anyone pick a speed and stay with it???
Sorry. First timer. Have a lot of questions.

Edit: I think on struck a nerve with some people. Let me just say that your city is beautiful and we had a great time! It’s just the last 30-45 minutes that rubbed us the wrong way. Didn’t know if it was traffic from the marathon or what. I’d love to visit again, but maybe we would fly in next time.
