I just heard from a friend that a group of residents on Escalona are trying to close the left hand turn lane that allows people traveling south on Bay to turn east onto Escalona. Supposedly the issue will be discussed at the next Planning Commission meeting on May 21 at 7:00pm. I have tried substantiating this claim by looking at the City’s website for the agenda for this meeting, but the agenda isn’t posted until three days before the meeting.

Whatever your thoughts on this issue are, the public deserves more notice of such an impactful change. If you have opinions, make them known to the city.
