The apparently immortal Mr Todd has been found! He went on a very, very, VERY long dementia kitty walk. The person who found him and brought him in even turned out to be a friend of a friend.
I wanted to update y'all after all the well wishes and concerns.
He's still trying to escape every single moment of the day to go live his epic hobo cat life, but I'm glad to have him home 💜
Was going through something tonight back at the apartment and couldn't afford a hotel so I setup the back of my car to sleep in. Not sure where to go but whatever I'll figure it out.
While I was parked at West Cliff just looking up at the sky thinking about the events that led me to this point tonight, I got egged by some goons passing by in a big maybe early 2000's black truck. Just heard a loud thud and didn't even realize what happened till some people parked nearby said something like "ohh shiii they just got egged omg...". I looked down completely lifeless to find an egg splattered all over my blanket.
Pretty lame but I understand they were just out having some fun (at other people's expense) on their Saturday night. If you're reading this, just know you never know what someone is going through, karma is a bitch, and I wouldn't hurt a fly but one day you may do something like this to the wrong person. Pls think about it next time and stay safe y'all.

We're looking to rehome our remaining female Endler's livebearer, ideally with someone who already has a group of Endlers.
Over the past two years, we've built a small, planted half-gallon aquascape with cherry shrimp and snails. We recently consulted a local aquarium shop about adding fish and were told that Endlers would do well in our setup. Unfortunately, after the other two fish passed away, we've come to realize that our tank is simply too small to accommodate them properly.
We know Endlers are social fish, and since losing her companions, our remaining female has become particularly timid, although she perks up and comes out when we're sitting in front of the tank.
We'd really love to find her a home with an established, appropriately sized aquarium and other Endlers where she can feel comfortable and thrive since being lonely sucks. Free to a good home!

Like many, I take issue with Coonerty's big tech backing and PredPol inclinations. But donations are legal and being pro PredPol is his opinion to have, I guess.
This, however, is just such an acute conflict of interest, it's hard to spin any other way. Especially with city votes needed to cede part of the land and his paid consultancy.
Just.... yikes.
Around 7PM last night, there was a shooting on Larkin Valley Road x Windsong Way, with at least one suspect fleeing on foot. It was a quite the event: street blocked off both ways and many squad cars. While there was essentially a "shelter in place directive," the residents of this area weren't informed, except via the neighborhood grapevine. Today, no information on said event anywhere.
It seems everyone is gone? And everything looks clean?
Just wanted to share some Volkswagens! So much fun for my car-loving kiddo. I spent my childhood cruising around in my aunt's bus so the nostalgia was hitting today.
Visiting for the weekend and was surprised to see them!
