My grandpa passed away and found these pictures in an envelope to be cremated with him. No one told me growing up but apparently his mom left him when he was a baby and this was all he had of her. Was told in his final moments he said he was ready to go and wanted to go look for his mother out there. I was the last one to see him alive and my mom never told me he grew up without her

Original tattoo was just a last min job when another session had some leftover time and I picked out something quick. Ended up blurring and hated it.
