I’m just starting playing guitar and my brother keeps telling me that if I rest my guitar like this then it will damage it. Is this true? And what is the extent of the damage? Will it just make my strings go out of tune quicker? Or will it actually damage my guitar? I just want to make sure I’m not damaging my gear without knowing
