A/C speed 3/4 not working - PLS HELP!!!

Hi, I have a 2015 Fiat 500C sport and the A/C is NOT working at higher speeds. Speeds 1 & 2 work, but 2 is faster than normal. The mechanic said the blower motor/resistor is FINE, but couldn’t diagnose the problem within an hour of labor ($150). The notes say:

  1. LOW AND HIGH FAN SPEED NOT WORKING
  2. TESTED BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR - GOOD
  3. STARTED TESTING SWITCH AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS AND FOUND NO GROUND AT HIGH SPEED SUSPECT BAD FAN SPEED SWITCH BUT NOT ABLE TO FINISH POINT TESTING

Can someone PLEASE help me out?! Is there an easy fix or something I can do? The mechanic said he could keep “diagnosing” for another hour but no guarantee it’d be fixed. I spent $800 for the 2 hour service and fuel pump valve and would rather not spend MORE money on the car that isn’t worth much anymore. It gets up to 100F here, so I’m pretty desperate. :( Any help would be appreciated!!!

AC 3/4 speed not working

Hi, I have a 2015 Fiat 500 Sport and the A/C at speeds 3 & 4 aren’t working. It seems that on 0 it also won’t turn off. The mechanic said it wasn’t the blower motor and/or resistor, and they’re not sure what else it could be. Is there anything that someone else has tried that’s worked, and if so is it DIY friendly?

I paid $400 for an evap valve replacement (whole unit) with $140 labor cost, so I’m bummed it couldn’t have been fixed during the first labor hour.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Plus, if anyone knows how to fix the drivers side door lock, that’d be great too. The key won’t unlock the door, but will fit and turn.
