Was thinking of alternatives for saving... What if I buy some gold blocks..? A small block of gold is worth quite a lot. Aint hard to hold it too

Has anyone experienced with investing into precious metals?

I was also considering silver, though gold seems like a way less bulky alternative. Or should I just go for stocks? Gold is only going up and wont stop unless some kid will figure out how to synthesize gold in his garage😂
