Hello! I'm seeking yet again another person to roleplay with! But also to improve my writing. ♥
Specifically, I am looking for someone to match my third person, past-tense, novella-esque writing style. I thrive with dark, unusual, uncomfortable, sometimes creepy themes while also centering character interactions around romance with the intentions of creating characters to ship! My preferred setting is medieval fantasy/ with or without magic.
I am 28 and have engaged in the hobby for almost 13+ years.
Alongside that, I love creating worlds, side-characters, then eventually developing mentioned side-characters into their own arcs, basically a whole web of ships.
A few books im obsessed with to give you a sense of my writing palette: circe, song of achilles, dracula, alchemised, captive prince, the atocar series, last days, etc. I read a lot of fantasy, then horror books and romantic fantasy.
A few more specifics:
- I write a mix and match between literate and novella. I try to match my partner in word-count, interact with the information I've been given in replies etc. For shorter conversational pieces between characters my world count will however go down. I have never written full novella and super long replies for a long time will burn me out. (I have lots of respect for novella writers, demigods amongst humans).
- So let me know what you enjoy and what we'd settle with.
- I love tension, angst, edge. The horrid feeling something is wrong, grief, etc. I also enjoy fluff and happy times in roleplay - not everything has to be doom and gloom but I am a sucker for drama and conflict. There is also nothing I would consider "problematic" enough to not write.
- I read and write a lot in english, regardless I do write with some mistakes probably. I hope you do not mind that - and neither will I expect perfect english from you all the time.
- I reply a lot during the day & write from the Timezone UTC/GMT +2 (central Europe). I am fine with a time difference of max 6 hours (or more if you happen to be a night-dweller.)
- I am a plotter but I also go completely free-style! I love getting into the personality of a character and see where the story goes. (Ofc I will provide necessary information about the backstory or I will surprise you if you prefer that).
- I write any couples, my tendencies are however hetero or gay couples.
My expectations about you:
- Preferably you are over the age of 21 with experience in roleplay. I do feel a bit weird writing with very young people, but if you are "older" that would be perfect.
- You have a similar writing style to me and write the replies yourself. I do not enjoy algorithm assisted roleplay. The only intelligence I want to converse with is your own.
- We both share enthusiasm about our writing and characters and you can make up side-characters on your own and introduce plot. I like making pinterest boards about my characters aesthetics, I will send you songs that remind me of them, memes etc. I will awe and owe about your replies if I find them super cute or humerous.
- Big plus if you are F - not a necessary requirement but I found there are certain stereotypes about M's in our hobby. You might know what I mean.
- You let me know you read the amount of text with telling me what you think about the color cobalt.
- And above all, you are friendly and respectful and understand RP-Etiquette. I am also completely fine yapping about our characters, the ships, settings, about games and books etc. But if you are a more quiet/introverted person that rather prefers to keep things about our rp I also respect that!
