The Bournemouth Revels poster dates it nicely. The second picture is them in retirement, late 1960s.

Swindon reinventing itself as a centre of drone manufacturing.

So, is someone being very stupid by announcing this, making Swindon one of the first places Putin will bomb if the worst comes to pass, or is it an elaborate piece disinformation with the real factories in Basingstoke, with Swindon being bombed anyway as after all, it's only Swindon?

Hi, looking for some advice.

In December, I was asked to attend an Occupational Health appointment for an agency position, they wanted me to have some vaccinations. I pointed out I would be working from home and not coming face-to-face with anyone, and had a manager from the agency confirm this at their request (all via email).

The agency outsource their OH stuff to another company.

The OH company said I still needed to attend. I took a day's annual leave, booked parking (sensible as a blue badge user) and made the 80 mile round trip.

When I got there, the nurse said they didn't know why I was there as I was in a non-contact role, and that it would be medically inappropriate to vaccinate me. If they had been consulted they would have cancelled the appointment.

After I got home, I contacted the OH company and asked to have my travel costs and parking reimbursed, and something towards the loss of my annual leave day. They responded by saying they could not do this as they had no means of paying me.

I said I was not happy with the outcome, and they said they would get a manager to review it, but that the outcome would likely be the same. This was January, and they have still not reached a decision.

Is this they sort of thing I could put in a court claim for money for? I don't want compensation, just my costs reimbursed.
